Continuous technology investment drives product innovation. In the past year or so, Kistler has launched two new innovative industrial amplifier products to meet the needs of customers in different manufacturing industries: the multi-channel, high-bandwidth ICAM-B general-purpose charge amplifier 5073B for piezoelectric sensors and the high-precision, low-noise industrial strain amplifier 4709A for strain sensors. Both are designed for complex and harsh industrial environments, and both provide industrial manufacturers with flexible options for both analog signals and digital outputs.
From July 9th to 11th, Kistler will showcase this pair of new industrial amplifier "twins" products at the 18th Shanghai International Industrial Assembly and Transmission Technology Exhibition (AHTE2025). All innovative partners are welcome to visit Kistler's booth E1-J01 to get a close look at the latest iteration of amplifier technology with our experts.
Kistler's new ICAM-B charge amplifier and signal conditioner (5073B) has completely revolutionized the application of piezoelectric sensors in industrial environments and in a wider range of fields. As a multi-channel, high-bandwidth, universal charge amplifier, the ICAM-B has a wide and adjustable measuring range (±20 to ±1,000,000 pC), integrated IIoT protocols (OPC UA and MQTT) and a web user interface for configuration and commissioning. This cutting-edge device has obvious core advantages in industrial applications such as micromechanics, medical technology, semiconductor manufacturing, smart factories and digital manufacturing.
▪Widely applicable to almost all industrial scenarios where piezoelectric sensors can be deployed
▪Wide range design, starting from 20 picocoulombs (pC), especially suitable for low-force applications such as micromechanics, medical technology, semiconductor manufacturing, etc.
▪Core advantages of Ethernet interface: device configuration, firmware upgrade, factory reset and license activation through intuitive web interface
▪Measurement signal can be dynamically displayed as a time function in the interface
▪Ethernet interface supports OPC UA and MQTT two Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) protocols to meet the needs of remote parameter setting and data streaming
▪REST API interface can easily realize the integration of equipment and automation system
▲For industrial applications and smart factories: Kistler's ICAM-B charge amplifier combines the proven analog signal transmission of piezoelectric sensors with Ethernet connection, supporting OPC UA and MQTT protocols.
▪Supports up to four channels of independent configuration and control
▪Flexibly select the output signal type from multiple options such as effective value (RMS), minimum value, maximum value, peak value, integral value, etc.
▪Provide rich adjustment functions such as filters, offset definition, signal scaling, etc.
▪Adopt electrical isolation design to significantly reduce noise interference
▪Users can configure the device to send a digital output signal to the control system when the measurement signal exceeds the preset threshold
▪The protection level can be selected as IP50, IP65 or IP67 according to the severity of the environment
▲Kistler ICAM-B charge amplifier and signal conditioner use piezoelectric (PE) measurement chain to inject high-efficiency data driving force into industrial digital transformation.
On the other hand, Kistler 4709A industrial strain gauge amplifier is aimed at a variety of application scenarios such as force sensors, torque sensors and pressure sensors - including quality control, robot force measurement, material testing, torque and pressure monitoring, etc. The compact and rugged product design enables high-precision, low-noise signal processing, tailored for smart factories and digital manufacturing scenarios, bringing a series of innovative functions and added value.
